A leading Multifunctional Device (MFD) manufacturer required a multifunctional scalable solution to address the need for scan drivers and workflow integration into their end-users' environment. The solution would help users scan their documents on the device and transfer it securely to their desktop computers (Windows/Macintosh) over network or USB.

- Windows® Still Image Interface compliant TWAIN driver
- Microsoft® WHQL Certified WIA driver

Celstream's team of experts worked with the customer's Engineering and Marketing teams to define the scanning workflow suiting the devices targeted at both enterprise and medium businesses. A consistent approach was taken to design the workflow and features for both Windows and
Macintosh® scan drivers. The response included:
- Develop TWAIN compliant driver for Windows and Macintosh
- Develop a WIA driver that complies with WHQL test requirements
- Develop Scan utility to scan and transfer images from the MFD's based on predefined templates created using the utility
- Support features like scanning to email, scanning to local folder, scanning from any device, etc.
- Common platform for all devices catering to enterprise and medium businesses.
