Advanced Audio Coding AAC-LC Codec
Celstream’s AAC-LC Codec (Advanced Audio Coding) is an implementation of the MPEG-4 (ISO/IEC 14496-3) Standard. It is a standard for compressing audio sampled at 8 KHz to 96 kHz. AAC provides higher quality audio than MP3 at the same bit rate. A partial list of applications where Celstream’s AAC-LC codec can be used are:
